About me

I am passionate about counselling and I have felt deeply drawn to it throughout my training. I am a member of BACP and work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework for good practice.
I believe in Person Centred counselling because I have seen remarkable progress and growth in all the clients I have worked with.

I sought counselling as part of my training and although I may have said I had no serious issues when I began, by the end I felt new inner strength and self-validation. I was able to uncover and address several anxieties which had been buried within me and had still been affecting me all through my life. I often think about how it would have been to go through my life without experiencing the positive change counselling has brought me.

I have had experience working with clients who:

  • Are bereaved
  • Have suffered sexual / physical / emotional abuse
  • Have a long term illness
  • Suffer from anxiety / panic attacks / depression
  • Are struggling with the emotional effects of unemployment
  • Are unsure as to their sexual identity or have issues surrounding their sexual identity
  • Are suffering with work related stress
  • Are facing an unwanted arranged marriage
  • Are caring for loved ones who are suffering from mental/physical illness
  • Don’t feel ‘right’ or ‘themselves’ and aren’t sure why

I have years of experience supporting young adults from 12 years old and up. I welcome clients as young as 12.

I am more than happy to work with any person with any issue. If I feel at any point that I cannot offer you the service you deserve for whatever reason, I will discuss this with you.
